Tagaytay and the White House

On our way back to Manila, we stop at Tagaytay for a breathtaking view of Lake Taal from The White House, a tiny jewel of a house perched on a cliff. It belongs to Anthony's relatives and he is very proud to have convinced them to include a jacuzzi in the master bedroom, and in fact a jacuzzi in every bathroom. The view is stunning. I feel like I'm in a seventies movie with the decor -- all white. David and I do the photo-shoot obligatoire. Anthony served us Chinese mountain tea grade AAAAA, something absolutely exceptional and extremely rare. I loved it. This great moment was spoiled when I learned that the Tiger, my Chinese astrological sign (that I happen to be very proud of), is not well regarded by the Chinese as far as women are concerned. In fact, Tiger women are never invited to weddings because they can cause too much disruption. Well it's still better than a Pig or a Rat right? On the way back, we bought a bunch of banans. Really, a bunch. There are sweet ones and more bitter ones. David was dipping his in the melted Swiss chocolate. This is a picture of one of the Taiwanese professors.
